PROJECT PROFILE

The Challenge: This particular project posed several challenges for Urethane Unlimited. First, the roof was 40,000 square feet and had over 500 penetrations on the roof. Second, the majority of the roof deck was covered in electrical conduit so mechanically attaching the membrane was dangerous and therefore impossible. Finally, with this location being a nursing home, finishing the project swiftly and with minimal disruption was imperative.

The Solution: Urethane Unlimited worked with the building owner to develop a plan and strategy that would maximize the number of hours that the roofing crew could work while keeping the residents comfort top of mind. They used strategic combination of knowledge and products such as low rise foam, DensDeck and Polyiso. Urethane Unlimited also chose to use Duro-Last pre-fabricated sheets, curbs and stacks to ensure that the roof could be installed quickly, efficiently, and for less cost to the building owner.

More than 5,000,000 square feet of Duro-Last Roofing installed to date.

Urethane Unlimited has installed over 5,000,000 square feet of Duro-Last membrane!

To put this number into perspective, Urethane Unlimited would be able to roof the size of the Bengals stadium more than 4 times over!
